This is supposed to give a baseline estimate, not an exact price. All different kinds of things—accessibility, how far away, site conditions—go into the final number.

Every post is set in concrete,
how deep depends on the fence.
One-third of the post’s total height goes in the ground:
15 inches — 4-foot fence

It’s why our fences don’t lean.

Anything over 30 inches off the ground at its tallest point requires a permit.

Siding

Smooth-face Hardiplank — $20/sq ft
Every siding job includes: full demo of the old siding, HydroGap drainable underlayment, Hardi trim around windows, flashing at every penetration, bear-skin flashing at every seam, and asbestos testing on pre-1980 homes.
Complicated angles, pop-outs, and cutouts add to the base price. Straightforward walls are one number. Dormers and bump-outs are another—we'll walk it and tell you honestly.
What Changes the Number
Permits and city rules. Every city on the coast has its own quirks. Some jobs need a permit, some don't, and the difference isn't always obvious from the driveway. We handle it either way.What we don't do: quote low to win the job and find reasons to charge more later. If a number changes, you hear it from us before the work happens—not after.
Site access
Site access. If we can back a truck up to the work, it costs less. If everything gets carried through a side gate, it costs more. Coastal lots are unpredictable that way.
What's under there
Rot, failing framing, old asbestos siding, a stump nobody mentioned. We test for what we can and quote the rest honestly once we've seen it.
Distance
Distance. We serve Clatsop and Tillamook counties. A job in Warrenton and a job in Neahkahnie are not the same drive, and we don't pretend they are.
